Creating a sustainable tourism model
Working for the Government of Tanzania Wildlife Authority, we are in partnership with the Frankfurt Zoological Society to develop a vision and new tourism model for the world’s #1 world heritage site. We are consulting with the regional community, stakeholders, environmental experts, and operators to define and build consensus on how a new model for tourism could bring long term stability to the region and protect environmental and cultural assets. We have determined candidate regions within the 8 million-acre park and are currently creating development phasing strategies, business plans, feasibility models, and advising government ministries on developing policies for implementation.
